About the new MV-Nation forum
« on: February 06, 2017, 01:03:03 am »
Just a brief intro and explanation about this project.

Firstly, I think its important to state that this new site has no connection to the original mvnation.com, nor does it claim to.
I would have rather seen the original come back to life, as it was already filled with so much good info, that probably can't be replicated.
The main motivation for creating this new site, was to have a central place dedicated to MV users, which could hopefully somewhat carry the torch of the original into the future. The reason for keeping the name, is because everyone is already familiar with it, and I thought it would serve the purpose much better than trying to push a completely new name.

If anyone from the original mvnation.com makes it here, and wants to continue as a moderator, please let me know, because I am not the type to be a mod. I don't like to post much. Even writing this feels strange. So I will wrap it up, by saying welcome, and I hope you like the new site. I did the best I could, now its up to you guys to make the forum great again!

Im out.

Sincerely admin  8)

I think I saw Colemang name on here. I thought he put this up. I'm pretty sure the original Mvnation was his. Unless it's a different guy.

I was an MVNation vet and an admin on mvofiles

Been doing FOH and sound design for musicals.
I worked with a couple really talented Hip Hop dudes a while back. Other than that mostly just engineering. Honestly right now I'm kind of drooling over the MPC X.

Hell yeah. It's just about everything we were hoping to see Roland do with a new MV. It's about time we have a real modern standalone sampler.

Obviously it hasn't come out yet but there's only one thing one my wish list that I don't see. It would be bad @ss if it acted as a DSP when it's tethered. Maybe that's asking too much though.

Yesss. Whats your stereo widening techniques? I have been trying to think of ways to do this without good results so far.
