Linux / Windows batch samples convertions ?

Hi, i'd like to be able to convert entire folders and subfolders of samples to 16/44 to feed the MV. i'm talking loads of GB here.
I'd like to keep the file structure as is, just rendered easily to the right bit and samplerate.

Any idea on how to do this ?

I'm beginner at using a Debian based distribution: AVlinux 2016

I don't know bout others, but I use Foobar to convert to 16bit. then Advanced Renamer if the name is too long to see the key label of the sample within 16 characters.

The MV will read 24 bit WAV files just fine.

Anyhow, I am using REAPER to batch convert audio files.

Thanks for the renamer tip admin, i tried to use Clementine instead of Foobar, i guess it's the same process.

Soul one: problem is sample preview does not work or works bad with 24 bit files.

Switch is nice too, even the free version do a good and fast job.
There are options like "output folder same as source files", "delete source files after conversion" and normalize (peak & rms)...
