The MV-8800 can read 24 bit WAV files!

You can select list entries with the numeric keys!

Yes it can read some 24 bit wave files but it's not supported. Make sure you save anything you were working on before attempting to preview or import theses files as they have been known to cause system crashes.

Shift + click & drag to copy selected sections of one or multiple tracks

When choosing the routing for your partials or choosing your midi channel for example, you can dial numbers instead of using wheel or INC/DEC buttons

you can use sampling and then resampling to monitor your master level and see if its clipping. or check individual levels of tracks.

just noticed that now.

Cool tip, you can also route your track to an AUX.

does anyone know a way to create some structure in the project list? newly created stuff tends to go to the bottom of the list but working on projects in the middle of the list they stay in the middle of the list.

I just like to have a way to isolate some projects... for example the things I worked on recently to go on top. or a way to put some projects in a different folder.

You can export the song as a Midi file and import it back as a new pattern. The MV will give you separate tracks for every instrument and assigns the corresponding patch.

Is there a way to alphabetically order your folders and samples? once you use windows to put samples, all the folders are not arranged by name, even when you do it in windows.

To access the MV's diagnostic menu:
Start up the MV8000 while holding the "Menu" and "F3" button.
This allows you to check all LED's, tact switches, pad sensors, RAM and it has other options to check.
I do this on every MV before I purchase it.
