Mv op1 6 Channel Output Alternative
« on: January 06, 2018, 02:26:29 pm »
I am in the process of building a diy 6 channel output pcb for the Roland mv....

I am just curious how much interest is here for something like this?

If the demand is large enough I could build some prototypes...

Cheers max

this sounds great! very interested.
from looking at some pics of the original, it seems like a fairly complicated little unit. i notice the original has surface mount mini SMD chips.

Would anyone be interested in having an 8 Channel ADAT Optical ouput from the MV?(Yes we have 8 Channels Total!!!)

Just wondering b/c i have a prototype working with ADAT out currently.
This digital output could be converted to analog with an Behringer ADA8200 as an example.

Or be routed into an AudioCard like the RME UCX......

Whoa! They're going for over 700 bucks now! Glad I got my mine when they were still around 100 bucks on eBay. I had no idea they would be this sought after and rare. :)

Is it ok if I share this link? I'm based in Australia and there's a couple of private facebook groups that could be interested in something like this.
