Nothing missing. In fact if you know your way around the MV without a mouse, your work flow is probably faster. Once you know the MV this well, if you decide to go back to using a mouse, it will still be faster.

The mouse and vga are convenient and certainly help with getting started. In my opinion you’re more inclined to dig deeper without them though.

Changing pad banks easier than holding the pad bank button and hitting the pad number?

I think that’s already pretty easy.

What are your thoughts?

the small screen.. :-X

the couldve added an hdmi mv style, bring the UI of the machine to the big screen with acces to sequencer. .. im pretty sure that  "Zenbeats integration" isnt that..since you have to bounce

Idk man it looks like tethering to a tablet might just be what we’re looking for. I guess we’ll find out.

I like it. It’s not quite what a new MV should be but it has some nice features. To me it looks like a combination of an MV and a TR.

This is clearly designed with mobility in mind maybe they’ll release a bigger, more powerful version.

Notable features:
24bit/96k (32 bit float) audio
Battery powered or AC adapter
XLR with Phantom power
Can tether to your phone, tablet, or computer, which can then be used as an interface.
Bounce to DAW
SD card reader

It says you can sample. I wonder how well chopping works.

This isn’t exactly a new MV , but it is. It’s looks like they’re bringing back the product line and honestly this thing has some very nice features.

MV-General Production / Re: Do the MFX suck ass?

I think the MFX section is great, especially the space echo. I sometimes use it as ourboard gear, I send from tracks in Logic to it.

I also really like the analog modeling. I was actually using it to stack with a Massive synth earlier today. Don't expect it to sound like a Lexicon or Eventide. Use it for what it is.

This is just awesome. It's been quite some time since I've been on on this forum. I wasn't expecting to see something this cool. You sir are an over achiever I wish you luck.

Depending on the vst you might be able to just import the wav files that are used in the vst

I did this with a bunch of different patches years ago. It worked well. You might Elbe able to find information on the loop points, layers and key ranges

Making some of those multi layered patches was so time consuming. I got damn good at it though. There's all kinds of little short cuts.

The names of many of the contributors were lost. There was a site that  existed before mv0files which is where many of the contributions came from. Unfortunately when the new site was started those names were not added. All of them old school MVNation people.

Yes sir. It's one of the things about the MV I don't like

There's really no need to be LOUD. It's a big problem with music today. You actually want to leave plenty of headroom on your mix so that it can be mastered.
